About our piercer:

Gabija has a university degree in painting and fine arts, but chose to express her creativity in the field of body piercing, for which she felt attraction since her teenage years. Her curious nature led her to leave Lithuania (where she was born and raised) at the young age of 18 to explore and experience life abroad. After some years of living in various countries, she settled in Amsterdam in 2012, where she as well decided on her career choice: to persuit body piercing full time. Working in the bussiest and most prominent shops in Amsterdam for over 10 years, following courses, conventions and conferences gave her experience and oportunities that made her confident that it was about time to open her own studio.

However, I believe that body piercing is also a transformative experience. Piercing helps us to love and accept our bodies more trough decorating it. Age restrictions:

We do not offer piercing for children. From the ages of 12 to 15, we pierce earlobes only: parent or guardian must be present,  both with valid Identification.

For the ages of 16 and 17 we perform most piercings, excluding Nipples, Bridge, Daith, Rook and Industrial. No parent or guardian must be present, but you must have valid Identification.

We base our age restrictions on our experience;  smooth healing process of the piercing is our top priority.

Aftercare:

Aftercare is cruccial part of the succesful healing of your piercing. We make sure to explain it step by step after your piercing procedure as well as give you writen instructions. We do not exagerate when we say that Neilmed piercing aftercare is the best so far in the industry. You can purchace it in the studio. If you you have forgoten or have additional questions about your piercing aftercare, please, do not hesitate to contact us.

Check up:

Piercing is a wound and everyone is different when it comes to the healing of the wound. Therefore we always recoment to come by for a check up in 2 to 3 weeks to see how you are healing.

Downsize:

Swelling is part of the healing process. We pierce you with the larger jewelry to leave room for the swelling. Most piercings require downsizing after the innitial swelling is gone, to assure succesful healing. We will inform you, depending on your piercing, when we recommend to downsize. We strongly recommend following our advise.

Jewelry:

For your safety and comfort we pierce you only with biocompatible materials to ensure the safe healing of your piercing. In the studio we only use certified implant grade titanium and solid 14 or 18 Karat gold. All the jewelry is handpolished to give it mirror finish.

Pricing:

All piercing prices are for the piercing service only, meaning excluding the jewelry. We have multiple choices available for your piercing and we do it this way to avoid confusion.
